Trust is complicated and a lack of safety nets, like AI regulation, is putting some Americans on edge.
Americans aren’t on board with an AI free-for-all. They want guardrails put on AI from the start, in part because they know that AI technology uses data to function. According to a recent Pew Research Center survey, about five times as many Americans are concerned or afraid of AI as are excited by it.
